LOWELL — A rendezvous with a lady he had met on Twitter went from bad to worse for the 18-year-old Tyngsboro guy as soon as the girl’s boyfriend that is angry up at their home as opposed to the woman.
In accordance with court papers, once the jealous boyfriend zippped as much as Devon M. Santos’ 114 Sherburne Ave. home at 11 p.m. on April 28, the boyfriend had been presumably brandishing a blade and violence that is threatening.
The individual Santos was indeed conversing with on Facebook had been evidently the boyfriend.
Santos responded by allegedly pointing exactly what looked like a firearm out of the window, cocked it and told the boyfriend to go out of. Given that boyfriend and their pals drove off, Santos’ mom called the authorities.
But when Tyngsboro authorities confronted Devon Santos in regards to the problems of brandishing exactly just what turned into a BB gun, Santos presumably became enraged and demanded their BB weapon back, in accordance with documents.
Whenever officers refused, saying it had been proof, Santos allegedly threatened to blow the minds from the officers and their mom, who was simply attempting to sooth him down.
As a result of their so-called homicidal and suicidal threats, officers made a decision to handcuff the teenager to just take him into the medical center for a psychiatric evaluation. Santos presumably reacted by threatening to kill everyone else and lunged at Officer John Coburn. Coburn alleged which he felt Santos grab for their solution gun and tug on his responsibility gear.
The court papers suggest that Coburn and Officer Evan Donnelly feared that Santos could possibly take away the weapon from their holster, so the officers picked him up from the flooring and stepped him towards the sofa
